Fulwadi – Asha Deep – Dharampur
This convent of Fulwadi, in a tribal region was started because of the overcrowding of the boarders at Bilpudi, Dharampur. It opened in 1998 only for the high school boarders of Bilpudi. Later when the English medium school started at Bilpudi even the primary school children were shifted here. Together the children number about 380.
Leadership training is given to those attending the junior college in the Parish school nearby.
This community has a dispensary and a mobile clinic. It has self-help groups and mahila mandals. The catholic girls are prepared for the sacraments.
After their junior college many girls have finished nursing courses and are well employed. The education here has helped them develop a deep faith. They also participate in all social activities becoming trustworthy citizens devoid of superstitions and child marriage.
