Canossa Ashram Andheri
Initially this house was built as a Provincialate in 1990.The Provincialate was shifted to Nirmalashram and since 2005 this house serves as a Spirituality Centre.
Soon retreats and Programmes were conducted. The Sisters here organized various seminars, retreats, Bible study, retreat in daily life etc. Soon this place was well occupied and Sisters reached out spiritually and psychologically to many.
The following Programmes have been conducted all through the years:
Retreats (8,-day, 3-day, Daily life of Sisters and laity)
Seminars (Bible, Counselling Family apostolate),
Handmaids for Christ, Christian meditation, Healing Programmes,
Jesus Youth, Focolare, Neocat, Marriage encounter Programmes.
Senior Citizen, Charismatic, Holotrophic Programmes
Parent effectives, and Programmes for the poor and marginalized.
Sisters who have been part of this community are also teaching in the school and work in the Canossa Jeevan Vikas Kendra. Hence the work of the young, catechesis, Youth formation, social outreach through various Programmes, Small Christian Community animation is also carried out.
Whenever the premises are available guests are given lodging especially those who need to attend interviews etc.
People who use this place have been well impressed and feel spiritual vibrations of silence, prayerfulness and peace.
