Para Legal Aid Course Held at Canossa Jeevan Vikas Kendra, Andheri
Canossa Jeevan Vikas Kendra, Andheri, successfully conducted the first session of its Para Legal Aid Course on 23 July, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the aim of creating legal awareness and empowering members of the community through knowledge of their rights and responsibilities.
The session was facilitated by Sr. Meena Godad, who introduced the participants to the Constitution of India and its Preamble. Through her clear and engaging presentation, she explained the fundamental values, ideals, and principles that form the foundation of the Constitution, highlighting the rights and duties of every citizen.
A total of 36 women and men participated in the programme. The participants showed keen interest, actively engaged in the discussions, and responded enthusiastically throughout the session. They appreciated the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Constitution and expressed their eagerness to continue learning through the forthcoming sessions of the course.
The programme marks a meaningful step in promoting legal literacy and empowering citizens to become informed, responsible, and active members of society.
